According to the Long Beach Police Department, the incident occurred on the northbound lanes of I-710 near Seventh Street when Castillas crashed into the rear of a Long Beach Fire Department BLS ambulance and collided with the center median.
Unfortunately, the female passenger died at the scene due to the impact of the collision.
