Jaqueline Orosco, 21, of Bakersfield, died in a Highway 65 multi-vehicle crash where a car that lost control hit two other vehicles, as confirmed by the Kern County Coroner’s Office.
According to California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on April 13, 2024, around 4:59 p.m. on Highway 65, just south of Highway 155.
Reports indicate that a Toyota was traveling northbound on Highway 65 with a Ford ahead of it. Suddenly, the driver of the Ford lost control of the vehicle for reasons yet to be determined, veering into the opposing lane.
Subsequently, the Ford collided with the left side of the Toyota, striking the latter. The Ford continued its trajectory out of control, ultimately crashing into a Honda that was trailing behind the Toyota.
Unfortunately, Jaqueline Orosco, who was a passenger in the Toyota, succumbed to her injuries as a result of this Highway 65 multi-vehicle crash.
