CHP officials stated that Jacob Johnson was driving a silver Hyundai Genesis when, for unknown reasons, the car veered to the right and onto the shoulder, eventually colliding into a parked Kenworth truck tractor.
Despite the efforts of emergency responders, Johnson and Hernandez Zambrano, who was a passenger in the front seat, succumbed to multiple blunt force injuries at the scene.
Meanwhile, 1st Marine Logistics Groups Communication Strategy & Operations Office officials mentioned, “The command is heartbroken by the accident and doing everything possible to support those grieving this loss.”
