We provide our team with the option to work from home, in the office, or a combination of the two (in most positions, with few exceptions). We completely trust that our dedicated team members will excel and deliver wherever they may be. Those who work from home are provided with a wonderful at-home set-up, including technical equipment, a desk, chair and other items they need to be productive and comfortable.

Giving our team members the flexibility to set their hours (depending on their job requirements) allows them to spend time on the other more important matters in life, and keeps them energized, inspired, and well-rested.

Case Management

After being injured in an accident, a client is typically confused and unsure of what to expect from their attorney’s office. One of the most important aspects of any personal injury case is that the client recovers from his/her injuries. The case manager’s primary duties are to ensure that all clients receive the best medical treatment available so they can fully recover. A case manager will arrange doctor’s appointments, schedule recommended treatments, review medical records, communicate with provider offices, and communicate regularly with clients on all aspects of their case. At the same time, the case manager will also investigate the case, which includes working with the insurance company to resolve liability and confirm valid insurance coverage, resolving the client’s property damage claim, interviewing independent witnesses, reviewing traffic collision reports and other legal correspondence, gathering evidence, and conducting third party searches. A case manager can better be called a modern-day Sherlock Holmes!

Demands

The demands department is in charge of settling cases in the pre-litigation phase. We are in charge of drafting demand letters to send out to insurance carriers to demand settlement of the case on behalf of our client. Once we send the demand letter out, we negotiate the case with adjusters to obtain the maximum settlement we can get for our client and we coordinate the release to send to the carrier on behalf of our client to trigger settlement and issuance of the client's settlement check.

Records

Our Records Department’s main focus is obtaining all medical records and bills pertaining to any injuries sustained during our client’s accident. We do this by contacting providers and drafting request letters. Our clerks organize and itemize final bills for each provider, making the file ready for the next step in the process. We open subrogation claims with our client’s health insurance to make sure they are reimbursed for their paid services. Most importantly, as the direct point of contact for the client, at this stage, we provide updates and answer any questions the client may have.

New Case Coordination

The role of the New Case Coordinator (NCC) is to assist all new clients in the opening stages of their case. The NCC helps our new clients understand the process of their PI case while also gathering all necessary information and documentation needed for their case. Our NCCs also assist in getting our clients set up with their initial medical treatment. Additional important duties of an NCC include establishing contact with involved insurance parties, notifying the DMV, and preparing any additional paperwork for the case. The end result allows new clients to feel confident that they made the right choice by choosing us as their firm.

Liens Negotiations

A lien negotiator's primary function is to negotiate post-settlement liens, including health insurance liens, hospital liens, private medical provider liens, and state and federal medical provider liens. They are also responsible for finalizing the case and providing clients with the best recovery possible and exhibit a high level of efficiency and proficiency.

Reception &
Office Services

Reception: From answering incoming calls to greeting guests, our reception team is the face of the firm. Receptionists are often the first people to interact with a client or visitor. We strive to leave a lasting impression by providing stellar customer service, a positive experience and a welcoming environment.

Office Services: The office services team provides administrative support to every department - completing tasks that are integral to the daily success of the firm. Office services clerks coordinate mail flow in and out of the office and are responsible for sorting and distributing daily mail, deliveries and faxes.

Intake

When someone has been in an accident, they may be confused, unsure of what to do next, and hurting. Calling our Intake team can help begin alleviating some of those concerns and help set them up with an experienced, trustworthy team to handle their case. The goal of the Intake specialist is to confirm we can work on a client's case and then walk them through the process while building rapport, trust, and providing them with a solid foundation of knowledge of the firm's process and how we will be providing value in our services. An Intake Specialist is there to listen, ask questions, and help our potential clients through a tough time. They think out of the box as well, when looking at different angles of a case, using our vast resources to help determine what our firm can take on a case. And while not all cases may qualify to be taken on, we do continuously build rapport with anyone who needs us and provide resources to aid them in their needs.

Accounting

Accounting

The Accounting Department plays a vital role in managing the finances and the overall economic performance of the Company. Our responsibilities include Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables, General Ledger Maintenance, Preparation of Financial Statements, Internal Controls and Cash Flow Management. We provide management, lenders, and other stakeholders with accurate, complete, relevant, and reliable quantitative information to make informed business decisions. We also provide support to all the different departments from the time we sign our clients up, to the time that we close and settle the cases. This means that we are involved and play an integral role from beginning to end. We gather, record, sort, analyze, summarize, and interpret all these various financial information/transactions from the different departments to give management the results of the Company’s business operations. In a way, it is like solving a puzzle. You do not want your puzzle to be all over the place or have missing and mismatched pieces. You want to see the outcome. This is where Accounting does its magic. We come in and we put everything together and we complete the puzzle!
