Selma, CA (October 25, 2021) – Daniel Davis, 27, was killed in a crash with another vehicle on Highway 99, near Floral Avenue in Fresno County.
The collision was reported around 04:00 p.m. California Highway Patrol responded to the scene shortly thereafter. Davis had been traveling northbound on Highway 99 in his Hyundai, when his car stalled on the median. The driver of a Ford F-250 traveling north hit their brakes as traffic began to slow suddenly and swerved to avoid hitting other vehicles. This swerve propelled him onto the median, rear ending Davis.
Police and first responders found Davis and declared him dead at the scene. Drugs or alcohol are not suspected as factors in the deadly crash but the rainy weather conditions may be
