Thousand Palms, CA (October 28, 2021) – Michelle Foreman, 51, was killed as a pedestrian in a hit and run crash on Ramon Road, near Monterey Ave in Riverside County.
The collision was reported around 06:58 p.m. California Highway Patrol and paramedics responded to the scene shortly thereafter. It is believed that Foreman was crossing the roadway on the intersection of Ramon Road and Sierra Del Sol when a vehicle struck her.
Police and first responders found Foreman and they sustained major injuries. The involved driver did not stop to render aid and they remain at large.
Responders transported Foreman to Desert Regional Medical Center in Thousand Palms. She succumbed to her injuries at approximately 11:19 p.m. It is unknown whether drugs or alcohol are suspected as factors in the deadly crash as police continue to look for the vehicle involved in the accident.
