Reginald Hill dead in Fatal Crash in Stockton, CA
Stockton, CA (January 18, 2022) – Reginald Hill (37) died after getting involved in a fatal accident during an intense car chase between a 15-year-old suspect and the San Joaquin sheriff’s deputies, with the help of the Stockton Police Department. The incident happened at around 10:20 am on Sunday.
Authorities say that they were chasing a vehicle owned by a 15-year-old wanted for felony evasion after an incident earlier in January.
According to police, the vehicle ran erratically. It hit Hill’s car as it approached Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Lincoln Street. Investigators closed both directions of Lincoln Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard because they were covered in debris and shattered glass.
The Stockton Police Department and San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office are currently investigating the case. They’ve also asked the California Highway Patrol, San Joaquin County District Attorney, and Medical Examiner’s Offices for assistance.
