Isaac Barrera and Eliyu Arellano Got Killed in a High-Speed Crash on Temecula Valley (15) Freeway in Wildomar
Wildomar, CA (February 22, 2022) – Isaac Barrera (24) and Eliyu Arellano (34) died after a high-speed collision northbound on the Temecula Valley (15) Freeway near the Clinton Keith Road off-ramp in Wildomar. According to Patch.com, the incident happened at around 2:00 am on Saturday.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), Barrera drove a 2007 Mercedes Benz at over 100 mph. Arellano was a passenger in the vehicle. Then, Barrera tried to change lanes. However, he ended up sideswiping a Ford Escape and losing control of the vehicle. Afterwards, the Mercedes Benz hit the center median. This caused both Barrera and Arellano to eject from the vehicle because they weren’t wearing seatbelts.

The CHP shared that the vehicle flipped many times. Also, responders pronounced both Barrera and Arellano as dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the Ford Escape’s driver got minor injuries.
