The Jacoby & Meyers team includes some of the most professional and capable attorneys in the business, such as Laura Lynn Davidson. She is a Jacoby & Meyers partner who recently received recognition as a Super Lawyer. 

She is one of our partners who believe big corporations and insurance companies must always be held accountable for their wrongdoings. Similarly, Ms. Davidson’s practice consists mostly of big injury, wrongful death, motor carrier liability, and premises liability cases. In fact, her solid track record includes millions worth of verdicts and settlements, many of which range between $1 million and $5 million in value. 

As a mother, Ms. Davidson brings empathy, compassion, and understanding to the representation of young clients and their parents. She helps them achieve justice through either trial or settlement, but more than that, she guides them through finding their “new normal.” She uses her skill and work ethic to reflect her values and beliefs. Whether it’s by helping a 16-year-old client who got injured in a cliff-jumping activity or a 5-year-old girl who suffered severe brain trauma after an accident at school, Ms. Davidson guides them through the justice system. 

Ms. Davidson earned her JD from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, and her BA in Geography & Environmental Studies from UCLA. During her time at USC, she was the Chief Production Editor of the Southern California Review of Law and Women’s Studies. She is admitted before the following Courts: The United States District Courts for the Central, Northern, and Eastern Districts of California; the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals; the Third Circuit Court of Appeals; and the United States Tax Court. She has also been admitted pro hac vice in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Davidson is active in her local community as a volunteer at her children’s schools and as a Girl Scout troop leader. She also serves as a member of the Alpha Phi Fraternity’s NPC Delegation and a UCLA Student Mentor. On the other hand, she is involved with the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), and the UCLA Alumni Association.

Before joining the team, she worked as a senior associate at a boutique business, securities, and tax firm based in Los Angeles. During her time there, she worked on complicated business and tax litigations as well as business transactions.
