19-Year-Old Jermari Pierre Terrell Killed in DUI Accident on White Lane in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, CA (March 10, 2022) – Jermari Pierre Terrell (19) died after getting involved in an accident on 4400 White Lane in Bakersfield. According to KGET, the incident happened at around 10:50 pm on Wednesday.
According to reports, Terrell drove a two-door coupe when an SUV tried to turn and collided with Terrell’s vehicle. Then, responders arrived at the scene, but Terrell already died. Also, the crash sent Terrell’s vehicle off the road and into a gas main, causing a leak.

The SUV’s driver got minor injuries. Responders transported her to the hospital for treatment. Afterwards, authorities arrested the driver, Kimberly Phommasouk (29), on suspicion of multiple charges, including DUI and gross vehicular manslaughter.
Terrell’s family and friends expressed grief over the loss. They’ve also set up a GoFundMe page for his funeral costs.
