Scott St. Amand Killed After Colliding with Multiple Vehicles on Interstate 280 in San Jose
San Jose, CA (March 14, 2022) – Scott St. Amand (62) died after his car struck multiple other vehicles on Interstate 280 in San Jose. According to InsideEko, the incident happened at around 11:17 pm on Thursday.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), St. Amand drove his red Honda, making a turn from northbound on I-280 into the Saratoga Avenue ramp.
Scott St. Amand’s Honda hit several vehicles before stopping on one of the I-280’s middle lanes.
Then, the Honda hit a Tesla, going onto the off-ramp’s east shoulder. After that, St. Amand lost control and hit a Prius, silver Hyundai, and a Nissan before overturning. Then, St. Amand’s vehicle stopped on one of the middle lanes of the I-280.
Authorities arrived at the scene, but St. Amand already died. He had no passengers in his vehicle. At the moment, authorities don’t know if alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash.
