Gail Bronson Died After a Head-On Collision on Thousand Palms Canyon Road in Thousand Palms, CA
Thousand Palms, CA (March 15, 2022) – Gail Bronson (81) died after her 2007 Toyota Sienna crashed and overturned on Thousand Palms Canyon Road near Dillon Road and the Coachella Valley Preserve. According to the Desert Sun, the incident happened at around 3:35 pm on Monday.
According to investigation findings, Bronson drove her vehicle, which veered towards the right side of the roadway. Then, she turned her car going into the northbound lane on Thousand Palms Canyon Road. She then collided with a 2010 Nissan Rogue head-on.
Gail Bronson’s vehicle veered and turned towards the northbound lane, causing a head-on crash with another vehicle.
The force of impact caused Bronson’s vehicle to overturn, stopping on its roof on the dirt shoulder. On the other hand, the Rogue stopped on the road, blocking both northbound and southbound lanes of Thousand Palms Canyon Road.
Responders arrived at the scene, but Bronson already passed due to her injuries. Meanwhile, the Rogue’s driver sustained moderate injuries. Authorities transported the driver to the Desert Regional Medical Center.
Right now, authorities are still investigating the case. At the moment, they don’t know why Bronson made unsafe moves on the road. Also, alcohol and drugs don’t appear to be factors in this incident.
