Carlsbad, CA (April 20, 2022) – Felicita Vazquez Flores (56) was identified as the woman who died in a pedestrian accident involving a truck in Carlsbad. According to FOX 5, the incident happened at around 5:00 am on Wednesday (April 14).
According to authorities, Flores walked near Melrose Drive and South Santa Fe Road. Then, a driver in a Chevrolet truck hit her.

Responders arrived and transported Flores to Escondido’s Palomar Medical Center. She then died in this hospital after three days. According to a medical examiner, she died due several blunt force injuries caused by the accident.
The Chevy truck’s 40-year-old driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Other witnesses also provided details about the crash. At the moment, authorities are still investigating the accident.
