20-Year-Old Victim Identified after Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash in Canoga Park
Los Angeles, CA (June 28, 2022) – Nelson Castaneda (20) of Canoga Park was identified as the victim of a fatal hit-and-run crash in Canoga Park. According to Los Angeles Daily News, the incident occurred around 12:15 am Tuesday.
Authorities reported that a Dodge was reportedly traveling at an unsafe speed when it struck the side of a Lexus.
The Los Angeles Police Department Traffic Investigators are now looking for the hit-and-run driver responsible for the crash in Canoga Park on Tuesday.

Following the collision, the driver of the Lexus was pronounced dead at the scene. They identified the victim later as Nelson Castaneda of Canoga Park.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Dodge reportedly fled the scene by foot and left his damaged vehicle at the scene.
Right now, the Los Angeles Police Department is still investigating the incident.
