A Male Motorcyclist From Chula Vista Suffered Serious Injuries in a State Route 905 Motorcycle Crash in San Diego
San Diego, CA (October 5, 2022) – A state Route 905 motorcycle accident left a man (20) from Chula Vista in serious condition. According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, the crash happened at around 11:05 AM on Monday.
A male Chula Vista motorcyclist sustained severe injuries after getting rear-ended in a state Route 905 motorcycle accident near Beyer Boulevard in San Diego.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the male motorcyclist from Chula Vista rode a white Suzuki on SR-905 nearby Beyer Boulevard. Then, a red Mazda sedan driven by a female driver (48) from National City rear-ended the motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist flew off his bike and fell on the Mazda’s hood. The Mazda moved further forward and also rear-ended a silver Toyota sedan with a female Chula Vista driver (73).
Authorities responded to the incident and arrived at the scene. They immediately transported the motorcyclist to a hospital for severe but non-life-threatening injuries.
Meanwhile, the Mazda’s female passenger (51) also suffered allegedly minor injuries. Both drivers of the two sedans sustained no injuries.
Authorities are still investigating this collision. So far, they don’t believe intoxication played a role in this case. The CHP noted that road closures lasted around one and a half hours to make way for investigations.

More About Motorcycle Accident Liability
Motorcycle accidents usually cause more severe damage than other auto accidents. Motorcyclists are prone to sustaining major injuries because they are more exposed. Also, motorcycles are lighter and don’t provide much protection. Most motorcycle accidents are caused by the following:
- Compact and less visible on the road
- Loss of control due to road debris
- Motorcyclists are exposed to road and other vehicles
- Prone to wobbling
- Unskilled motorcyclists who don’t have proper licenses
However, motorcycle accident liability always falls on the negligent driver. Most of the time, both the motorcyclist and the other vehicle’s driver can be at fault. It all depends on who made careless road maneuvers, which contributed to the accident. Proving negligence can become challenging on your own. Fortunately, you can hire an experienced attorney for motorcycle accidents. A skilled lawyer can do more than just help build your case. Personal Injury Claims in San Diego
In this case, the victims of this state Route 905 motorcycle accident can have the right to pursue a personal injury lawsuit. However, it can depend on the investigation’s findings. These results can point out any acts of negligence by a person or business which might have contributed to the accident.
Indeed, no amount of money can ever make up for the injuries or death left by an accident caused by someone else. However, receiving the maximum settlement and winning a judgment can give a sense of justice. Also, it can offer some peace of mind, so you can fully heal and recover.
