John Diaz Fatally Struck by Pickup Truck in Huntington Beach
Huntington Beach, CA (January 3, 2022) – John Diaz (49) was identified as the fatality in a pedestrian crash on Slater Avenue west of Keelson Lane. According to Los Angeles Times, the crash was reported around 6:50 pm on Friday.
John Diaz was fatally struck by a pickup truck outside a crosswalk in Huntington Beach.
The Huntington Beach Police released the identity of the victim in a fatal pedestrian crash involving a pickup up truck on Friday.
The victim was identified as John Diaz of Huntington Beach.
According to their preliminary investigation, Diaz was struck by an eastbound Chevrolet Silverado outside a crosswalk. He then died at the scene.
The pickup truck driver, identified as a 22-year-old man, stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
