The San Diego Fire-Rescue Department responded to a Mission Gorge Road crash involving at least three vehicles on Tuesday.
Two people were reportedly injured following the crash.
One had critical injuries and was taken to Sharp Memorial, while the other was taken to Grossmont Hospital with serious injuries.
According to authorities, the crash happened on Mission Gorge Road near Jackson Drive when a vehicle rear-ended a sedan coming down the hill.
This caused the sedan to be pushed into an intersection, where a van collided with its side.
