San Pedro, CA (March 7, 2023) – Oscar Montoya (51) was identified as the fatality in a hit-and-run crash on Pacific Avenue in San Pedro. According to City News Service, the crash occurred around 12:40 am on Monday.
Oscar Montoya was fatally struck by a hit-and-run driver on Pacific Avenue in San Pedro.
The Los Angeles Police Department reported a fatal hit-and-run crash involving a bicyclist on Pacific Avenue in San Pedro.
The bicyclist was ejected from his bicycle and collided with the roadway. Paramedics later pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The coroner’s office recently identified the bicyclist as Oscar Montoya.
According to authorities, Montoya was riding his bicycle on northbound lanes of Pacific Avenue when he was struck by a northbound vehicle.
The driver reportedly fled the scene without stopping to render aid or identify themself.
