Tina Vital Fatally Struck in a Fiery Crash Involving a Stolen Car in Woodland
Woodland, CA (April 9, 2023) – Tina Vital (43) was identified as the fatality in the fiery crash caused by a fleeing juvenile driver at the intersection of College and Court streets in Woodland. According to ABC10, the crash also left a total of ten people injured.
Tina Vital, a grandmother, was fatal in a fiery crash involving a juvenile driving a stolen car in Woodland. At least ten people sustained injuries.
The Woodland Police Department reported a fatal crash involving a stolen car at the intersection of College and Court streets.
A total of ten people were reportedly injured in the crash, including three children.
One fatality was also recently identified by family members. She was Tina Vital, a grandmother who had recently attended a Celebration of Life event for a longtime friend.
Vital’s daughter, son, and granddaughter were with her at the time of the crash. They are confirmed to be in critical but stable condition at a hospital.
According to reports, officers initially pulled over a driver who was seen “driving erratically.” They found out that it was a 13-year-old with a stolen car from a family member.
The juvenile then drove off northbound and crashed into two other cars. The crash caused two of three cars to catch fire.
Authorities had the 13-year-old taken into custody on suspicion of vehicular manslaughter with negligence and evading causing injuries. The juvenile driver will also be booked into Yolo County Juvenile Hall.
