Wanted Man Causes Thousand Oaks Crash, Leaving a 15-Year-Old Dead and Three Teenagers Seriously Injured
Thousand Oaks, CA (April 18, 2023) – A 15-year-old boy was identified as the fatality in a rollover crash in Thousand Oaks. Three teenagers were also severely injured. According to NBC Los Angeles, the crash happened around 3:15 pm Tuesday.
A 15-year-old boy was fatal after a wanted man struck a group of teenagers in a Thousand Oaks crash on Tuesday. Several high schoolers were also injured.
Police reported a fatal Thousand Oaks rollover crash involving several high schoolers and a wanted man near Lake View Canyon Road.
A 15-year-old boy died following the crash.
Three other teenagers also sustained injuries; one is a 14-year-old girl in critical condition.
According to authorities, the high schoolers were walking on the sidewalk when a vehicle rolled over and struck them.
The driver, identified as Austin Eis, is reportedly a wanted man who had just stabbed two people at a Simi Valley Walmart.
Meanwhile, Conejo Valley Unified School District Superintendent Mark McLaughlin confirmed that the four teenagers involved in this tragic crash are students at Westlake High School.
“During this time of unimaginable loss, our thoughts and prayers remain with these students, their families, friends, and the entire Warrior community,” McLaughlin and Westlake High School Principal Jason Branham expressed their sympathies and support in a joint statement.
