A Car Accident in Riverside County Resulted in Three Fatalities and Six Other Injured Victims
Riverside County, CA (May 14, 2023) – A car accident in Riverside County resulted in three fatalities, and six other injured victims. According to KTLA, the crash occurred around 7:30 a.m. on Sunday.
Three of Anaheim family members died and six others were injured in a car accident in Riverside County.
The California Highway Patrol responded to a two-car accident on the eastbound 10 Freeway in Whitewater, resulting in 10, 12, and 31-year-old females’ deaths and seven others with significant injuries.
According to authorities, the two-vehicle collision involved a black 2022 Tesla Model 3 and a red 2001 Chevrolet Suburban traveling side-by-side on the east lane of 10 Freeway.
One of the drivers changed lanes, causing both vehicles to collide.
The Suburban driver then lost his control, which prompted the vehicle to hit a center divider.
Due to the impact of the crash, six passengers were ejected from the vehicle during the collision, while one was partially thrown out of the car.
Unfortunately, three of the Anaheim Family riding in the Suburban, aged 10, 12, and 31, died on the scene.
Other passengers in the exact vehicle, aged 3, 7, 11, and 15, suffered significant injuries.
Additionally, the 39-year-old Suburban driver and a 41-year-old passenger sustained moderate injuries.
The police then brought them to the hospital by helicopter.
On the other hand, the 31-year-old Tesla driver had no injuries from the collision.
