Chula Vista, CA (May 16, 2023) – Erlinda Young (86) was identified as the fatality in a car accident in Chula Vista. According to FOX5, the crash occurred on Monday.

Sgt. Anthony Molina of Chula Vista Police Department confirmed the fatality, identified as 86-year-old Erlinda Young, in the two-car accident in Chula Vista.
According to the report, the two-vehicle collision involved a Ford F-150 and a Honda Odyssey driven by Young.
Authorities said that Young was making a left turn from Old Telegraph Canyon Road when the Ford F-150 coming from the eastbound of Canyon Road struck her.
Responders then took the Honda driver and her passenger to the hospital.
Young was later pronounced dead due to her injuries.
Meanwhile, the Honda passenger is currently in critical condition.
On the other hand, the 24-year-old Ford driver sustained injuries from the collision and was brought to the hospital.
The cause of this car accident in Chula Vista remains under investigation.
