Downtown Los Angeles, CA (June 11, 2023) –Two pedestrians were severely injured after being struck in a crash in the flower district of Downtown Los Angeles. According to ABC7, the crash occurred after 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to reports of a pedestrian crash in the 900 block of South San Pedro Street near the Los Angeles Flower District.
According to the authorities, the two pedestrians, aged 50 and 14, were waiting at a bus stop when a large pickup truck jumped a curb and slammed into a bus stop, resulting in two injured victims.
Following the collision with the pedestrians, the vehicle collided with multiple other nearby cars before eventually coming to a halt.
Responders then took the victims to the hospital for treatment.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the pickup truck driver experienced a medical emergency before the crash.
Additionally, they mentioned that no crime had been committed in this pedestrian crash.
