Sgt. Jason King of the Sheriff’s Department said the pedestrian sustained unknown injuries and was taken to UC San Diego Medical Center in Hillcrest.
According to the witnesses, the pedestrian, aged 50 to 60 years old, was trying to board the train after it left, causing it to strike him.
