What is a Super Lawyers Rating?
A Super Lawyers rating is one of the most prestigious acknowledgments in the industry. It’s a service listing that includes exemplary lawyers from over 70 practice areas. This rating is attained based on a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Each nominee undergoes a stringent patented selection process with multiple phases.
The selection process begins with a nomination, which can be initiated in different ways. A lawyer can be added to the candidate pool through a managing partner survey, third party feedback, identification by the Super Lawyers research team, or nomination by peers. Then, the candidate is evaluated based on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selection is done on an annual, state-by-state basis. The goal is to create a credible, comprehensive, and diverse list of excellent attorneys which can be useful to anyone who needs legal counsel.
