710 Freeway Car Crash Left Five People Fatally Injured in Long Beach, CA
Long Beach, CA (June 26, 2023) – Five people, including two teens, succumbed to fatal injuries in a 710 Freeway car crash in Long Beach. According to the KTLA, the accident occurred around 4:15 a.m. on Monday.
Five people succumbed to injuries in a 710 Freeway car crash in northbound lanes near the 91 Freeway interchange.
The California Highway Patrol responded to a fatal 710 Freeway car crash involving a black Hyundai Sonata in northbound lanes near the 91 Freeway interchange.
The five people sustained fatal injuries from the solo vehicle crash, including two 15-year-old teens identified as George Dobbs and Ariahh Slemaker of Long Beach.
According to the report, the vehicle was traveling on the freeway when it struck the attenuators, flipped over, and burst into flames.
Authorities believed that the driver was going at a high-speed rate when the accident happened.
Moreover, a total of six people were inside the vehicle when the accident happened. Unfortunately. Five occupants died at the accident scene.
On Monday afternoon, The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office confirmed the identities of two victims, 15-year-old George Dobbs and 15-year-old Ariahh Slemaker.
Meanwhile, responders took the surviving occupant of the collision to a nearby hospital with significant injuries.
Authorities temporarily closed all northbound lanes in the area and reopened them around 8:30 a.m.
