Fontana, CA (July 26, 2022) – Adrian Llamas-Navarro (25) of Pomona was identified as the fatality in a suspected DUI crash on the Interstate 10 Freeway in Fontana. According to Fontana Herald News, the crash happened around 11:49 pm on Sunday.
Adrian Llamas-Navarro was walking within the lanes when a suspected drunk driver struck him on the Interstate 10 Freeway in Fontana.
The California Highway Patrol responded to a fatal traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a suspected drunk driver on the Interstate 10 Freeway in Fontana.
The pedestrian succumbed to his injuries due to the crash. The emergency medical personnel then pronounced the victim dead at the scene. He was identified by the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner’s Division as Adrian Llamas-Navarro of Pomona.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a suspected drunk driver struck Navarro, who was walking within lanes due to a prior solo vehicle crash. Then, another vehicle collided with the first two vehicles involved in the crash.
Meanwhile, authorities arrested the driver for suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
