Two People Sustained Injuries in Bus-Van Collision in Aguanga of Riverside County
Aguanga, CA (June 16, 2022) – An Aguanga bus accident involving a black van hospitalized two people, including one person with critical injuries. According to Patch, the crash happened at around 6:00 am on Thursday.
A school bus collided with a black van at Wilson Valley Road and Sage Road in Aguanga of Riverside County.
According to reports, no children occupied the school bus during the crash at Wilson Valley Road and Sage Road. Also, the black van’s driver solely occupied the vehicle.
Both Cal Fire and California Highway Patrol (CHP) responders then arrived at the scene. Then, they rescued both drivers from the wreck. One of them suffered major injuries, including a broken right femur.
Responders then flew him out of the scene to Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar. Meanwhile, the other driver suffered minor injuries and refused further medical care.
Witnesses also reported smoke coming from the scene. However, CHP noted that neither of the vehicles went up in flames.
Authorities later cleared the scene by 9:00 am. Right now, they are still investigating the accident.
