21-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed in a Motorcycle Collision in Santa Monica
Santa Monica, CA (June 21, 2022) – Armando Hernandez (21) was identified as the victim of a fatal motorcycle accident in Santa Monica on Tuesday. According to CBS News, the crash was reported at 3:30 am.
When responding officers arrived, one person was found dead at the scene. Then, the investigators confirmed that it was the pedestrian.
The California Highway Patrol received a report about a crash near the Cloverfield Boulevard on-ramp of the 10 Freeway.
According to reports, a pedestrian reportedly attempted to cross the freeway on foot. Then, a motorcyclist crashed into the pedestrian. Responding officers then arrived and found one person dead at the scene.
Later, the investigators confirmed that it was the pedestrian. Authorities then identified the pedestrian as Armando Hernandez.
Meanwhile, the motorcyclist sustained major injuries and was transported to the hospital.
This crash remains under investigation.
