Los Angeles, CA (June 29, 2023) – Aura Calderon De Tobar (74) and Yeshua Cordova Tobar (5) were identified as the fatalities in a Van Nuys car crash in Los Angeles. Four other victims also sustained injuries from the collision. According to CBS, the accident occurred about 9:35 p.m on Thursday.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified the fatalities as 77-year-old Aura Calderon De Tobar and 5-year-old Yeshua Cordova Tobar.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, a white Honda heading northbound on Woodley Avenue veered off the road and crossed the southbound lanes, hitting a gray Honda Civic head-on.
The Honda Civic had four passengers, including a five-year-old boy.
Firefighters also mentioned that they brought four other victims, aged 20s to 30s, to the hospital in serious condition.
Moreover, the cause of this Van Nuys car crash remains under investigation.
