The wrong-way driver, identified as a 67-year-old woman from San Diego operating a Honda Civic, crashed into a Dodge Challenger driven by a 16-year-old teenager. However, the full identities are being withheld pending notification to their families.
The impact caused the Dodge to erupt in flames, trapping both drivers inside their vehicles.
Unfortunately, both individuals succumbed to their injuries at the scene.
