Cleotilde Rodriguez Delgado Died in a Car Crash on Highway 20 in Mendocino County
Mendocino County, CA (April 5, 2022) – Cleotilde Rodriguez Delgado (49) was recently identified as the victim of a car accident on Highway 20 in Mendocino County. According to the Press Democrat, the incident happened at around 5:30 pm on Monday (March 28).
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), Rodriguez Delgado rode as a passenger in a Mini Cooper on Highway 20. Then, the vehicle’s male driver (60) lost control of the mini cooper. Afterward, it collided with two other vehicles on the same highway, east of Potter Valley Road.

The two other vehicles involved in the crash were a Toyota Tacoma and a Ford Explorer. According to the CHP, the mini cooper might have lost traction after it drove into a puddle on the rainy highway.
Rodriguez Delgado died at the scene. Meanwhile, responders transported the Mini Cooper’s driver to the hospital after he sustained major injuries. Also, the Explorer’s driver got sent to the hospital for moderate injuries.
Investigators don’t believe that alcohol or drugs were involved in this incident. They had to close the highway for over an hour after the crash.
