Based on the report, the aircraft, a single-engine Cessna P210N, departed from Buchanan Field Airport in Concord at approximately 5 p.m. on Wednesday.
Then, it aimed to land at Montgomery Field in Kearny Mesa, but then continued northwest, heading towards La Jolla.
The flight tracking data suggests that its GPS signal disappeared at that point.
Moreover, by around 9:30 p.m., the plane had lost connection with area towers.
Authorities have confirmed that the pilot was alone on the aircraft.
Currently, they have not revealed the pilot’s identity fatal in this Concord plane crash.
