David D’Lima Sustained Fatal Injuries in Pacific Coast Highway Hit-and-Run
Encinitas, CA (January 5, 2023) – David D’Lima (23) was identified as the fatality in a hit-and-run on Pacific Coast Highway. According to CBS8, the crash was reported around 12:30 am on January 1st.

San Diego Sheriffs and Encinitas Firefighters responded to a fatal hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian on Pacific Coast Highway in Encinitas.
Responding crews found a severely injured male pedestrian at the scene. They took the victim to an area hospital. Unfortunately, he was later pronounced dead.
Authorities recently identified the victim as David D’Lima.
According to an investigation, a dark-colored sedan or van struck D’Lima and fled the scene. Authorities further described the suspect’s vehicle as a possible Chrysler or Dodge sedan or van with damage to the front driver’s side. It was then last seen westbound on West B Street.
A GoFundMe page has been set up for D’lima to help support his loved ones. They remember him as an intelligent, kind, and compassionate person to the people around him.
