East Hollywood, CA (October 31, 2023) – An East Hollywood car crash involving two vehicles left a scooter rider dead on Western Avenue north of Sierra Vista Avenue. According to KTLA, the accident happened before 2:30 a.m. on Sunday.

An East Hollywood car crash tragically claimed the life of a man riding a Lime Scooter on Western Avenue, north of Sierra Vista Avenue.
According to the Angeles Police Department, a black sedan hit the scooter rider just before 2:30 a.m.
As a result, the impact ejected the man from his scooter and into the road, where a silver Lexus hit him again.
Subsequently, the Lexus driver remained at the site of the accident, called the authorities, and the man was transported to a hospital, where he ultimately died from his injuries.
On the other hand, a black sedan, suspected to be a Mitsubishi Eclipse convertible from 2001 to 2005, continued north on Western Avenue without stopping.
The police are now seeking assistance from the public in identifying the driver of the black sedan.
