Three People Critically Injured and Others Suffered Moderate Injuries After a Bus Crash in Los Angeles County
Los Angeles County, CA (June 27, 2022) – An El Segundo bus crash near the Los Angeles International Airport left more than ten people with minor to major injuries. According to ABC 7, the crash happened Monday morning.
Responders transported the bus driver and four other passengers due to major injuries sustained after the crash.
According to El Segundo Fire Chief Deena Lee, a semi-truck near Imperial Highway and Douglas Street was off-loading a scissor lift when it was struck by an LADOT bus.
Then, responders transported the LADOT bus driver to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center due to major injuries. Two passengers also sustained major injuries.
Meanwhile, two other passengers sustained moderate injuries. The rest of the victims involved in the crash suffered minor injuries and were then sent home.
Authorities confirmed that the bus had a total of 19 people in it.
Right now, the area is closed until further notice. No further information has been released by the authorities yet.
