Frances Palm Fatal in Buena Vista Drive Car Crash in Merced
Merced, CA (October 27, 2022) – Frances Palm (67) was identified as the fatality in a car crash at the intersection of M Street and Buena Vista Drive in Merced. According to ABC30, the crash happened around 1:35 pm on Wednesday.
One of two street racers crashed into the driver’s side of Frances Palm’s vehicle in Merced. Her granddaughter sustained minor injuries.
The Merced Police Department responded to a fatal crash involving two street racers and another driver at the intersection of M Street and Buena Vista Drive in Merced.
Emergency responders had to extricate the victim from her vehicle to provide life-saving measures. Unfortunately, she died at the scene. Authorities later identified Frances Palm as the driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash.
According to police, Palm attempted to drive east on Buena Vista drive when an alleged street racer crashed into the driver’s side of her vehicle.
A video surveillance footage from a nearby residence enabled the police to confirm that two drivers had been in a street race before the crash.
