Shafter, CA (September 20, 2022) – Francisco Saldivar (44) was identified as the fatality in a bicycle crash on Cherry Street in Shafter. According to 23ABC, the crash happened around 2:00 am on September 12.
Francisco Saldivar was fatally struck by a vehicle while he was on his bicycle on Cherry Street in Shafter.
The California Highway Patrol responded to reports of a fatal crash involving a vehicle and a bicyclist.
The bicyclist sustained fatal injuries and was then pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities recently identified the victim as Francisco Saldivar.
According to reports, a car struck Saldivar north of Cherry Street in Shafter.
