Jon Luis Endara identified as casualty in Multiple-Vehicle Crash in Fresno
Fresno, CA (January 18, 2022) – Jon Luis Endara (74) died in a crash on Friday night around 9 pm at Fresno. The incident happened near Shaw and Bishop.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), Endara made a left turn, pulling in front of a Honda. This initiated a multiple-vehicle crash as Endara’s Camaro spun and hit another vehicle. Endara’s vehicle flipped after the collision. Authorities share that Endara was pronounced dead at the scene. The other two drivers sustained no injuries.

The CHP found it difficult to investigate the scene because of the heavy fog in the area, which is believed to have played a part in the car crash.
CHP Sgt. Garrett Peck says, “The fog is a bit of a challenge for us. Luckily, the fire department has stayed on scene and provided us their very large fire trucks with their very bright lights. We urge drivers to slow down — be cautious and understand you can barely see as far as your lights can reach.”
