Fresno County, CA (March 27, 2024) – A Fresno County crash at the intersection of Parlier and Buttonwillow Avenue killed two vehicle occupants, identified as Maria Ayers (40) and Serjio Medina Leon (58). According to ABC30, the crash occurred just after 3:30 p.m. on Monday.

A Fresno County crash resulted in the deaths of two vehicle occupants, identified as Maria Ayers (40) and Serjio Medina Leon (58), both from Reedley.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at the intersection of Parlier and Buttonwillow Avenue, located just outside of Reedley.
Maria Ayers was behind the wheel of a Ford Focus, with Serjio Medina Leon as a passenger, when their vehicle disregarded a stop sign and entered the path of a Ford F-150 pickup truck towing a trailer.
Unfortunately, Leon succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while Ayers passed away while en route to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the driver of the pickup truck emerged from the collision unscathed.
