Head-on Collision in Arroyo Grande Left Two Fatalities
Arroyo Grande, CA (July 8, 2022) – Geovany Bazan Rojas (31) and Julian Hernandez (35) of Santa Maria, were identified as fatalities in a head-on crash in Arroyo Grande. According to Santa Maria Times, the crash happened around 4:45 am on Friday.
A fatal head-on crash caused by a pickup truck in Arroyo Grande killed Geovany Bazan Rojas and Julian Hernandez.
Authorities reported a fatal head-on crash on Highway 1 and Winterhaven Way in Arroyo Grande. Then, responding officers identified two victims in the crash.
The victims were later identified as Geovany Bazan Rojas and Julian Hernandez of Santa Maria.
According to Officer Miguel Alvarez, the pickup truck took a left turn and then went directly on the sedan’s way. Then, the pickup truck crashed head-on with a sedan driven by one of the victims.
The driver of the pickup truck was later identified as Cori Lee Hudson. He reportedly sustained minor injuries in the crash.
