Beaumont, CA (January 23, 2023) – Gina Marie Herrera (47) of Westminster, Colorado was identified as the fatality in a two-vehicle collision on the Moreno Valley (60) Freeway in Beaumont. According to Patch, the crash happened around 10:20 pm on Friday.

The California Highway Patrol reported a fatal two-vehicle collision in the fast lane of Moreno Valley (60) Freeway in Beaumont.
One victim sustained fatal injuries due to the impact of the crash. Authorities later identified her as Gina Marie Herrera of Westminster, Colorado.
According to officials, Herrera was headed westbound in the No. 2 lane when she collided with a Cadillac CTS in the fast lane.
The collision caused Herrera’s car to propel to the eastbound side of the freeway. It was then broadsided by a Kia Niro in the No. 1 lane.
Meanwhile, the Cadillac driver was not hurt. While the Kia driver was reported to be in a serious condition at the Riverside University Medical Center.
Right now, it is still unknown whether drugs or alcohol played a factor in the tragic crash.
