15-Year-Old Passenger Fatal in Granite Bay Crash
Granite Bay, CA (July 17, 2023) – A 15-year-old suffered fatal injuries in a Granite Bay crash. Two other teenagers were also injured. According to FOX40, the crash occurred around 5:40 pm on Sunday.
A 15-year-old passenger succumbed to fatal injuries in a Granite Bay crash. Two other teenagers also sustained injuries.
The California Highway Patrol responded to a fatal Granite Bay crash involving several teenagers.
Responders took three teenagers to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for treatment. Unfortunately, the 15-year-old passenger succumbed to fatal injuries.
Meanwhile, the two other teenagers only suffered injuries.
According to CHP, a westbound Jeep driven by a 16-year-old and occupied by two other teenage passengers did not stop at a red light at the Barton Road intersection.
Then, a 2003 Cadillac driven by a 17-year-old driver in the same intersection struck the Jeep.
This crash caused the Jeep to overturn and partially eject the 15-year-old passenger from the back seat.
The other driver did not report any injuries and was not taken to a hospital.
