According to ABC30, the accident happened around 9:50 p.m. on Friday.

The Madera County Coroner’s Office confirmed their identities as Gustavo, 22-year-old Quexada-Chavez of Firebaugh, and 42-year-old Arturo Carabez Ochoa of Kerman.
The incident occurred around 9:50 p.m. in the vicinity of Avenue 17 and Crescent Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Nissan Altima driven by Quexada-Chavez traveled at a high speed and lost control, eventually colliding with Ochoa, who was outside of his truck at the time.
Moreover, CHP officers reported that Quexada-Chavez did not wear a seatbelt during the collision.
