Hayward, CA (October 10, 2023) – A Hayward two-vehicle crash killed a 39-year-old woman and injured three others, including children. According to the Mercury News, the crash happened around 8:55 p.m. on Monday.

The Hayward Police Department reported that this collision between a pickup truck and a car occurred at Hesperian and Industrial Boulevards.
The woman, a passenger in the car, was rushed to the hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
However, after confirmation and notifying her next of kin, the Alameda County Coroner’s Bureau will disclose her identity.
Meanwhile, the car’s driver, a 36-year-old man, was treated onsite for non-life-threatening injuries.
Additionally, two other passengers, girls aged 9 and 3, were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. All three are Hayward residents.
Fortunately, the 46-year-old pickup truck driver from Modesto was unharmed in the crash. Moreover, he remained on the scene and cooperated fully with the ensuing investigation.
