The injured woman has been identified as Heather Martinez by her family and legal representative.
According to the victim’s brother, Dennis Johnson, Heather, a retired state worker, his sister underwent at least six surgeries in the last five weeks.
He and her attorney affirm that her internal organs have suffered severe injuries. Medical professionals are currently working to determine the presence of any potential brain damage.
