Poway, CA (June 30, 2023) – Henry Thomas Greene (18) was identified as the fatality in a rollover car crash on Valle Verde Road, east of Pomerado Road in Poway neighborhood. According to The San Diego Union-Tribune, the accident occurred about 5:05 am on June 23.

The San Diego County Sheriff Department responded to a fatal rollover car crash on Valle Verde Road, east of Pomerado Road in Poway neighborhood.
According to the authorities, Greene was driving a sedan on Valle Verde Road when he lost control of the vehicle and veered off the road.
The car then crashed into a concrete mailbox post, sheriff’s Lt. David Ladieu said.
The local residents reported that they heard a loud noise from the road and discovered a sedan resting on its side in the front yard of a house, as reported by the County Medical Examiner’s Office through a press release.
The car had tumbled several times before settling.
The witnesses dialed 911, and the paramedics responded swiftly.
Unfortunately, Greene died before he could be taken to a hospital.
Right now, the incident is under investigation.
