Visalia, CA (August 4, 2022) – A Highway 99 Greyhound bus accident near Avenue 264 injured 24 people, including the bus driver. According to the Los Angeles Times, the crash happened at around 3:15 am on Wednesday.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the Greyhound bus with 34 occupants went into the right shoulder of Highway 99 near Avenue 264. It then struck the roadway’s fence and ended up in a parking lot.
Responders arrived at the scene and found 24 injured people, including the 45-year-old bus driver.
Two of them suffered severe but non-life-threatening injuries. Right now, further details about the victims are unavailable.
The CHP is currently investigating the case. So far, they don’t believe alcohol or drugs played a role in this crash. They also noted that the Greyhound bus was on its way to Fresno from Los Angeles when the crash happened.
