Jamie Beman Killed in a Perris Hit-and-Run Crash After a Two-Vehicle Collision
Perris, CA (October 24, 2023) – Jamie Beman (64) of Nuevo died at the scene of a Perris hit-and-run crash after a driver hit his vehicle at a stop sign. According to Patch, the police responded to the accident at around 6:44 p.m. on Saturday.
Jamie Beman died in a Perris hit-and-run crash after a two-car collision at the intersection of Evans Road and Whispering Wood Lane.
Jamie Beman, a 64-year-old Nuevo resident, succumbed to fatal injuries at the scene after a vehicle struck him and eventually fled in a Perris hit-and-run crash.
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the victim’s identity.
At approximately 6:44 p.m. on Saturday, deputies responded to the intersection of Evans Road and Whispering Wood Lane.
At the scene, they discovered the driver of a 2020 Honda Fit unresponsive inside the vehicle.
Unfortunately, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department personnel declared Jamie Beman, the motorist, dead on-site.
Moreover, police mentioned that Jamie Beman stopped at a westbound Whispering Wood Lane stop sign, preparing to make a southbound turn onto Evans Road.
However, as she initiated the turn, a 2008 Nissan Pathfinder, traveling north on Evans Road, failed to adhere to the stop sign, resulting in a collision between the two vehicles.
The Nissan involved in the collision was later discovered abandoned north of the accident site on Evans Road, displaying significant front-end damage.
Additionally, the Nissan driver fled the scene on foot immediately after the collision and has yet to be located.
Furthermore, the investigation into this Perris hit-and-run, resulting in the death of Jamie Beman, is currently ongoing.
