Cathedral City, CA (April 12, 2024) – Jason Jester (41) of Indio died in an I-10 car crash in Cathedral City after colliding with another vehicle. According to Desert Sun, the crash happened before 2:00 a.m. on Thursday.

Jason Jester, 41, of Indio, succumbed to fatal injuries in an I-10 car crash, as confirmed by California Highway Patrol Officer David Torres.
Reports suggest that Jason Jester was driving his Ford F-150 pickup in the No. 2 lane at an undetermined speed when he suddenly veered to the right and collided with a 2008 Buick Enclave traveling in the No. 3 lane.
“The Ford continued to the right, onto the right shoulder, where he hit a sign and overturned,” explained Torres.
Jester was then ejected from the vehicle.
Emergency medical responders from the fire department arrived in less than 15 minutes. However, Jester died on-site.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Buick, identified as a 50-year-old Arizona woman, emerged from the collision unharmed.
Additionally, Officer Torres stated that it is still unclear whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash. An autopsy on Jester’s body was pending as of Friday.
The CHP Indio office urged anyone with information regarding this I-10 car crash to contact them at 760-772-5300.
